Juan Antonio Castillo (jachguate) is an IT enthusiast born in Guatemala, Central America, with more than 18 years of experience in application development.

Pascal was his first language at college, Delphi is his favorite tool and he is Embarcadero MVP since 2012.

Although his primary occupation is software development, he’s also active in other tech fields, like Windows and Linux server installation and administration, with a serious preference for debian since 2007.

At the same time, he offers consulting and educational services on different IT topics, in Spanish and English.

He is frequent speaker at Delphi courses, conferences and Webinars.

By translating Delphi books, he’s helping to reach the goal to make the Technology more accessible to those who doesn’t speak enough English.
